Unfortunately, the name of the spouse was not printed, but is most likely to have been Agnes Schurman. Agnes Schurman and John Hyde were first cousins, once removed.1

He was the son of William Hyde Jr. and Mary Braddock
BaptismSamuel Hyde was baptized on 4 March 1822 in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Charlottetown, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, 46.355952,-63.124992; the officiating clergyman was Rev. T. Desbrisay. Another baptismal record has his birth date as 27 June 1824, Richmond parish church, Prince County. This transcription is likely in error.1 
(First) Marriage*He married first Mary White on 7 November 1850 in Prince Edward Island they were married by license. Samuel was a bachelor, Mary a spinster. Witnesses were William Hyde and Henry White.2 
(Second) Marriage*Samuel Hyde married second Elizabeth McCallum on 13 March 1855 in Prince Edward Island they were married by license. Samuel was a widower, Elizabeth a spinster.3 
(Third) Marriage*Samuel Hyde married third Matilda Shaw, daughter of Duncan Shaw and Elizabeth Gregor, on 19 February 1856 in Prince Edward Island they were married by license. Samuel was a widower, Matilda a spinster. Witnesses were Duncan Shaw and James Shaw.4,5
