MotherAbigail Ven Curtis1 b. 11 Oct 1836, d. 28 Oct 1911

Name-ComAnna Eliza Blair is commonly known as Annie.2
Birth*She was born on 9 July 1869 in Fremont County, Iowa, U.S.A..1
She was the daughter of John James Blair and Abigail Ven Curtis.1
Marriage*Anna Eliza Blair married Robert Bruce Marchbank Sr. on 7 May 1890, in Susanville, Lassen County, California, U.S.A.. There were ten children from this marriage.1
(Witness) Census HeadHouseholdAnna Eliza Blair was enumerated on the census of 1900 in the household of Robert Bruce Marchbank Sr. in Downey Township, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A.. Included in the household with Robert (age 35) were his wife Annie (age 30), children Floyd (age 9), Mary (age 7), Ernest (age 5), Nellie (age 2), Beulah (age 2 months). Robert was a farmer.3
(Witness) Census HeadHouseholdAnna Eliza Blair was enumerated on the census of 5 May 1910 in the household of Robert Bruce Marchbank Sr. in Norwalk, Artesia Precinct, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A.. Included in the household with Robert (age 45) were his wife Annie (age 40), children Mary (age 17), Ernest (age 15), Beulah (age 10), Neva (age 7), Ruth (age 6), Robert (age 2 years, 4 months), Walter (age 4 months). Robert Sr. was a general farmer.4
(Witness) Census HeadHouseholdAnna Eliza Blair was enumerated on the census of between 30 January 1920 and 2 February 1920 in the household of Robert Bruce Marchbank Sr. in Artesia, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A.. Included in the household with Robert (age 55) were his wife Annie (age 50), children Neva (age 17), Ruth (age 15), Robert (age 12), Walter (age 10) and Laura (age 6). Robert Sr. was a farmer.2
(Witness) Census HeadHouseholdAnna Eliza Blair was enumerated on the census of 1930 in the household of Robert Bruce Marchbank Sr. in Norwalk, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A.. Included in the household with Robert (age 65) were his wife Annie (age 60), children Robert (age 22), Walter (age 20) and Laura (age 16). Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. were general farmers, Walter was a farm labourer and Laura was a music teacher. There were two curious entries in this census return - in the column requiring country of origin, Robert declared that he was "Canada-French", and in the column for language spoken in the home before coming to the US, he declared "French", both of which are clearly not right.5
Death*Anna Eliza Blair died on 14 July 1960, at age 91, in Artesia, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A..1
Burial*She was buried in Artesia Cemetery, Artesia, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A..1
