An alternate birth is 1834 in Plymouth, England, as written in the book Preserving the Wallace Family, but this is in error. His cemetery marker has a birth year of 1841. He was President of the Cascumpec Fortune Cove Heritage Society, and was a contributor to the the book Preserving the Past.1,2
