He was a son of Daniel Chace, of New Hampshire.Charles F. was in the war of the rebellion nearly three years, in companyF, Seventh regiment. After the war he was a farmer for a few years. In1873 he went to work on the New York, Boston & Providence railroad, and has been conductor since1876.
