Jessamine was a telephone operator, Lillian a clerk and Ellsworth a salesman.5

Enumerated in the household of Jennie (age 62) were her daughters, Lillian (age 27) & Leola (age 30) and Leola's daughter Jane (age 5).6 
(sister) Census HeadHouseholdLillian S. Collins was enumerated on the census of 8 April 1940 in the household of Marion Holcomb Collins, as a sister, in 2875 Sedgwick Ave., New York City, Bronx, New York, U.S.A.; Enumerated in the household of Marion (age 48), now widowed, was her single sister, Lillian (age 37).7
