Mr. James Rayner, Traveller's Rest, died at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25th, of pneumonia. He was born at the old Rayner Homestead, Traveller's Rest, Sept. 9th, 1846. His death makes the second break in a family of brothers and sisters, the first death being that of Mrs. John Harris, Sherbrooke, some years ago.

Besides his wife, Mrs. James Rayner (nee Mary Ellen Milligan) there are left to mourn five sons and four daughters: Mrs. James Wagner, Freeland, P.E.I., Mrs. William Heffel, Traveller's Rest, Mrs. Chas. Mathieson, Kinde-y, Sask., and Mrs. H. E. England, Traveller's Rest, Frank J. and Boyd at home, Daniel, Traveller's Rest, John Weston, Holbrook, Mass. and Alfred B., Cheekwan, Alta.
