Obituary: "The village of Cascumpec has recently been called upon to mourn the loss of an old and much esteemed resident, Mrs. Wm. H. Wallace formerly Mary Jane Ashley. Mrs. Wallace was until a few months ago, a healthy energetic woman. During last winter however, her health gave way suddenly. Sometimes her friends had hopes of recovery, but in August she began to fail more rapidly and passed away on Monday, Sept 1st. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn six children, Ernest and Lester both residing at Cascumpec, William in Boston, J. Herbert, Port Arthur, Mrs. Wm. Bell, Mill River; Mrs. Williams at O’ Leary."6,2 |
