Death*John Clay Robinson died on 25 December 1939, at age 69, in Oregon State Hospital, Salem, Marion County, Oregon, U.S.A.. On 12 May 1939 John was admitted to the Oregon State Hospital for treatment of mental illness. He was diagnosed with senile psychosis. After being a patient there for 7 months he died of heart & kidney problems on Christmas Day.6 
Burial*He was buried His cremated remains were never taken after his death, and are still available at the Oregon State Hospital to be claimed by anyone who is related. There is a Patient Memorial Plaque in his honour at the hospital.3

Birth*Paul Robinson was born on 16 September 1856 in New Brunswick.1 
He was the son of William Robinson and Mary J. Clay.1

Enumerated in the household of William Robinson (age 41) were his wife, Mary Clay (age 38), their children, George (age 7), Paul (age 5), Eleanor (age 2) and William (age 8 months). William was a farmer. The family religion was Presbyterian.2

Enumerated in the household of William (age 50) were his wife, Mary Clay (age 39), their children, George (age 16), Paul (age 14), Mary (age 12), William (age 10), Adam (age 8), Martha (age 5), Emma (age 3), John (age 9 months) and Asher (age 9 months).
