Born in Montrose, PEI, he was the son of the late David and Minnie (Webster) Marchbank. He operated a flour mill in Montrose for several years, and a strawberry farm as well as a flour mill in British Columbia, where he shipped flour overseas during the war. He was predeceased by brother George, Kam and Webster, and sister Margaret. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home in Summerside, from where funeral service will be held Thrusday at 1:30pm with Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating. Interment will be in the United Church Cemetery, Montrose. (Journal Pioneer, 13 Nov. 1990, p. 2.)1
