With a deep sense of regret friends learned of the death at her home in Bedeque yesterday, Sunday, of Mrs. J. Prince Leard. Mrs. Leard was in her 79th year and was formerly Alice Wright, the last remaining member of the family of the late Robert Wright and his wife, Elizabeth Muttart. She will be greatly missed in the home where she was tenderly cared for by her only daughter, Mrs. Florence Lowther. Her husband predeceased her several years ago. In addition to Mrs. Lowther two sons, R. A. Wright Leard, Central Bedeque, and Marshall Leard of Danvers, Mass., are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. The funeral takes place on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home to the United Church at Bedeque."^7,6,3
