Calder officiated at the house, where he was assisted by Rev. W. H. Smith, and at the grave, and the pallbearers were Messrs. Geo. W. Warren, F. W. Strong, D. A. Sharpe, Murdock MacLeod, Samuel Simpson and Thomas Schurman."3
