William was a farmer. William and his aunt were Anglican, Jemima and the children were Presbyterian.4 
Marriage*Alexander Williams married Carrie Isham, daughter of Francis Marion Isham and Calista Hazen, on 12 November 1902 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota; Sandy and Carrie lived in Billings, where Carrie still lives, 1971 (St. John's Lutheran home, 3940 Rimrock road). Sandy had a large department store, the Cole Williams Company, which was destroyed by fire. He then operated a stationery store in Billings for some years. He entered politics, was elected deputy commissioner for Yellowstone County, Montana, and later was elected county treasurer, a position he held until he retired in 1963.3 
Death*Alexander Williams died on 15 December 1966, at age 91, in Billings, Montana.2,3
