Survived by his wife, Joyce (Clough) Morrison, Summerside; children, Sue Morrison (Ron Chappell), Sherbrooke; Rick (Nicolle) Morrison, Summerside; Scott (Ruth) Morrison, Cornwall; Ann (Ken) Culleton, Summerside; grandchildren, Carla, Alex, Emily and Patrick Chappell; David, Michelle, Marc, Bradley and Christopher Morrison; Kyle and Zack Culleton; great-grandson, Ayden Wood; sisters, Joan (John) Kosec, Hamilton, Ont; Shirley (David) Walker, New Annan; Kathleen Moase, Travellers Rest; Janet (Claude) Lyle, Summerside; Gail (Barry) Chappell, Summerside; Raye (Milton) Montgomery, Summerside; mother-in-law, Stella Clough, Summerside; sister-in-law, Evelyn Diamond, Summerside; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to the Summerside Baptist Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Brethren of Hiram and Lebanon Masonic Lodge # 3, will hold a Masonic Memorial Service, at the funeral home, Monday at 8:45 p.m."1

Birth*Roger Mortimer 1st Earl of March was born on 25 April 1287.1 
Biographical Note* Roger de Mortimer was a nobleman, and for three years was de facto ruler of England, after leading a successful rebellion against Edward II. He was eventually overthrown by Edward's son, Edward III. Roger Mortimer was also the lover of Edward II's wife Isabella Capet of France, who assisted in the deposition and, allegedly, the murder of her husband. After being accused of assuming royal power without proper authority, he was executed by hanging.2

Death*He died on 29 November 1330 in Tyburn, Middlesex, England, at age 43; he was executed by hanging for assuming royal powers.1
