Milit-Beg*George Campbell Rix began military service; Keith was a Flight Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, stationed out of Malta.3

(First) Marriage*Joseph Samuel Rix married first Lillie Ann Henderson, daughter of Thomas Raymond Henderson and Mary Elizabeth Brander, on 23 November 1898 they adopted Joseph's niece, Lilla Rix when at the age of two years her mother died. Two years after that Lilla was stung by bees and succumbed to the venom. Lilla was then taken in by Fred & Helen (MacNeill) Hardy, who had been already taking care of raising Lilla's younger brother George.2
