Obituary: "The death occurred at Victoria B.C. on January 14th, of Lemuel MacGregor, youngest son of the late William MacGregor, of Summerside in the thirty-third year of his age. Deceased has been in falling health for a considerable time and was advised to leave his home in Winnipeg, Man., to go to British Columbia. His sickness was borne with Christian patience and resignation to the Divine Will. Although he was attended by the best medical skill and was under the care of loving friends, he passed peacefully away at the home of his brother William J. MacGregor. Mr. MacGregor was well known in this town as he resided here for years.
He leaves to mourn his widow and three small children as well as the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Slissman, California, Mrs. John Morison, Rossland, B.C., W.J. MacGregor, Victoria. B.C., Mrs. C. L. Jones, Moncton, N.B., Mrs. Jesse C. Wilson, Eastondale, Mass., Mrs. E. E. Perry, Attleboro, Mass., Mrs. W. B. Pye, Eastondale, Mass., Mrs. Ewen Clark, Wilmot, P.E. Island, Whitemore MacGregor, of Colorado. The services at the house and grave were conducted by the Rev. Leslie Clay."4,1 |
