(Witness) Death | William Bell witnessed the death of Richard Bell on 9 June 1880 in New Galloway, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland, 55.075559,-4.140454; cause of death was "wounds on throat, self inflicted from 3rd till 9th June 1880". He died at 9h10m P.M. His death occurred in the house he occupied near to the New Galloway railway station, Parish of Kells, Stewartry of Kirkcudbright. The first death record was recorded 10 June 1880 at New Galloway. There was a Register of Corrected Entries, providing more details about the cause and location of his death. This second report was recorded 23rd June 1880 at New Galloway. His son William was the informant, and was present when he died. William's residence was entered as Pilrig Nursery, Edinburgh. His occupation was entered as woodcutter. It was noted that he was a widower of Agnes Anderson.1 |
