Note* | Ernest Sipe was one seven sons born to Soloman And Caroline Sipe. Ernest Sipe had a homestead of 320 acres which he filed on in 1911 nearFarral, Wyoming, south of the J. M. Rowser and north of the Gunnproperty. After he married he moved to Nemo, Lawrence County, SouthDakota, and was a blacksmith for the Homestake. He then moved to Kelso,Cowlitz County, Washington where he worked for Weyerhaeuser mills. He cutpumice stone, etc. He contracted lung trouble and died of it in February1955. His wife Hazel (nee Kail) Sipes still lives in Kelso. Ernest soldhis homestead to Adelaide Ripley. |
