Fanny's declared age does not agree with her birth record, which is 1827, making her 34 years old. Also, according to Janet birth record, she is actually 40 years old. George's occupation was listed as Wood Merchant and farmer of 9 acres.7 
Death*He died on 19 May 1868, at age 39, in Parish of Ruthwell, Newfield, Dumfriesshire, Scotland; cause of death was suicide by strangulation. The death was recorded 30 May 1868 at Clarencefield. His tombstone inscription recorded that he died at Uppermains, Cummertrees.8
