He was a retired funeral director and embalmer, having owned and operated the Davison Funeral Home and Ambulance Service in Kensington.
"Mr. Davison was a life member of Mount Zion Lodge No. 12, Kensington, and a member of the Prince Edward Chapter No. 12 Royal Arch Masons of Kensington, a member of the Kensington United Church, as well as a former member of the Kensington Town Council and a retired member of the P.E.I. Funeral Directors' and Embalmers' Association.
"He is survived by his wife Louise (nee Brown) Davison and the following children: Jean Cudmore, Halifax, N.S; Dr. Ross B. and his wife Jane Davison, Kensington; and Elizabeth and her husband Richard McCrossin, Halifax, N.S. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Anna Johnstone of Long River. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Christene Buntain, in 1931; his sister, Norma MacCarten of Ottawa; and brothers Fred of Kensington and Carman of Boston, Mass.
