Death*Ethel Marion Davies died on 14 July 1965, at age 88, in hospital, Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; she was a housewife, living at 250 Minto Place, Ottawa, at the time of her death.

Obituary: "Mrs. Hyndman, wife of former justice, dies.
Mrs. Ethel Marion Hyndman, wife of Hon. J. L. Hyndman, and daughter of the late Rt. Hon. Sir Louis Davies, KCMG, chief justice of Canada, 1916-1924, died in hospital Wednesday after a long illness. She was in her 88th year.
One son, Robert Stewart Hyndman, is a well known Ottawa painter.
Mr. Hyndman, an Alberta Supreme Court judge, 1924-1931, came to Ottawa in 1931 as president of the Pension Appeal Court. During the war held different government posts. He served as an ad hoc judge of the Exchequer Court of Canada and also as deputy chairman of the War Claims Commission from 1957 until his retirement three years ago.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Victor Belcourt of Ottawa; three other sons, Louis Davis Hyndman, Edmonton; Cecil Charles Hyndman, Victoria, B.C. and James Edward Hyndman, Toronto; a sister, Mrs. C. Bolton Magrath, Winnetka, Illinois, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter."8,5,9 
Burial*She was buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada, 45.44598,-75.66358; flat stone, about 15' in front of her parents' tombstone.
