Mrs. Lazier was a devout member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, was noted for her works of benevolence and charity, and had lived in the reign of five British Monarchs. She leaves a family of five sons and one daughter, namely Thomas A. Lazier, senior Judge of the County of Hastings; Col. Samuel S. Lazier, Master in Chancery; Nicholas A. Lazier, Richard L. Lazier, Stephen A. Lazier and Mrs. Robt. Elliott of Chicago. Twenty-six grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren survive her."1 |
