The sad event occurred on January 27th, after an illness of three days of paralysis at the age of 54 years. She is survived by three daughters, Ina and Elizabeth at home, and Mrs. George Page, Kipling, Sask; also two sisters, Mrs. Ina Glazier, and Mrs. Norman McLeod, both residing in United States."
Obituary (Agriculturist 16 Feb. 1928): "The death took place suddenly at Broadview, Sask., recently of Mrs. Laura Walker, aged 54 years. The late Mrs. Walker was born in Charlottetown, a daughter of Peter MacLeod. At the age of 16 she went to Massachusetts with her widowed mother and lived there until her marriage to Mr. James C. Walker of Kelvin, P.E. Island in 1901. In 1906 they went West and settled near Broadview, Sask., where the family has since resided. Mr. Walker passed away on January 1st, 1926, and Mrs. Walker has carried on since his death farming successfully one section (640 acres) of land. She was greatly beloved for her quiet, unassuming manner, her willingness to spend and be spent for others and her kindly hospitality. There are left to mourn three daughters, Ina and Lizzie at home, and Velma (Mrs. Page) of Lansdowne, Sask; also two sisters in the United States. The deceased was an ideal wife, an untiring mother and a true friend."6,7

CAMPBELL -- The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, of Rhoda B. Campbell of 334 LeFurgey Ave., Summerside, and formerly of Sea View, aged 87 years.
Daughter of the late Chester and Jane (MacKay) MacLeod.

Wife of the late G. Leland Campbell. Mother of Eleanor Sharp (late Jerry) of Summerside.

Grandmother of Kimberly Sharp (Robert Milligan) of Summerside and Michelle (Randy) Milligan of Summerside.

Great-grandmother of Timothy Walfield of Summerside. Sister of Eileen (Vernon) Cornfield of Kensington.

Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Elmer and Esther MacLeod.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home of Kensington. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m.
