Note*She was the daughter and heiress of John Pruteston. Joan is mentioned in the Inquisition post mortem taken on her father's lands dated 1468. The Fortescue family later quartered the Prutteston arms, they being, Ore on a bend azure, 3 crosses patty fitchy argent.2
