They lived there until the late 1850's, when they moved to New Hampshire. There is a simple white marble tombstone in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery (46.41961,-63.81079), St. Eleanors, that has the inscription "Infant / children of / Major & Sarah / Hooper".
