Survived by his daughter Kathryn (Jim) Lawson of White's Cove, NB; one son, Carl of Montreal, PQ; one granddaughter, Michelle (Colin) Corey and great grandsons Tyler and Evan of Dartmouth, NS; one sister, Neata Gunter and sister in law Lucille Gunter both of White's Cove, NB; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Marion on June 25th, 1998; granddaughter Debbie Farris on June 25th, 2002; sister, Dorothy Condon on August 2nd, 1999. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 29th, 2003 from the Jemseg Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Rev. Phillip Penny officiating assisted by Rev. Ted Newell. Interment will be held in the Jemseg Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.oromoctofh.com.2 |

"The Wooing of Henry V", 1876, depicting King Henry V and Catherine de Valois, his future wife and queen. The original steel engraving was made by W. Greatbach, sculpt., from a painting by W. F. Yeames, in which the young king woos and wins the hand of Catherine in marriage. The engraving is from Charles Knight's two-volume Imperial edition of The Works of Shakespeare (London: Virtue & Company, 1873-76). This engraving is in the personal library of David A. Walker.
