Note*

Harriet was a schoolteacher. She taught in New Annan and in the junior department of the Margate school. Harry was a farmer on the Brown homestead, which is now owned by Douglas Johnson. In 1944 he retired to Kensington, where he built a new home, and in which Harriet did not live long to enjoy. They had no children, but raised Mamie Connell until her marriage to Roy Thompson. Harry married second, Mrs. Muriel (MacKay) Crozier.¹
