She died on 30 June 1924 at age 85 Obituary: " There passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Willard Phillips, in Summerside, early on Sunday morning, Mrs. Thomas Walker, of Cape Traverse, aged 86 years. Her husband predeceased her twenty years ago. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon after a short service at the house conducted by Rev. G. S. Mitchell. The funeral services at the Kirk, Cape Traverse were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Ewen McDougall."^6,1

Abiel Richardson died on 14 November 1765 at age 48; Abiel drowned with his son in a boating accident. Obituary published in the Boston Evening Post, 24 March, 1766: "We hear from Cumberland in Nova-Scotia, That Mr. Abiel Richardson (formerly of Cambridge) his Son Abiel, and tow other Men, were lost, in going to a Place where they cur'd Fish called Three Rivers in St. John's on the 14th November last, the Boat being found next Morning drove up to the Stages." It would appear that they capsized in what is now the Northumberland Strait, between Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.³
