Miss Estabrook's death occurred Friday evening (Jan. 12) atthe home of James Sleeper in Sherman, after an illness of one week. MissEstabrooks was born in Ashland, New Brunswick, the daughter of Nehemiahand Eliza Estabrooks. When quite young her parents came to New Limerick,where she lived until coming to Island Falls to make her home, about 25years ago. She was a member of the Baptist church and also the Bibleclass, a devout, conscientious Christian woman, who gave her entire lifeto caring for others. She leaves two brothers, Nevers and CharlesEstabrooks of Limerick, and a number of nephews and nieces.
