He moved to Port Angeles Sunday with his daughter, Mrs Percy LaBreck. The family home here was at 1406 West Market street. Durgan was a policeman here for about 10 Years, serving as a traffic officer and desk sergeant. In later years he was tender of the Heron span was closed several months ago.??He was a widower, his wife having died 29 years ago, leaving him with five small children. Durgan received the nicknams "Dad" from the way in which he fathered his motherless family.55,255] Besides Mrs. Labreck, three other daughters survive, Mrs. Fern Carlson, of Eugene, Mrs. Walter Elgin, of Seattle, and Mrs. Nels Conradl, Of Ryderwood. Durgan also leaves eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Elerding chapel with Rev. T. T. Ove and Rev. Paul Shelley officiating.
