Note*Francis 'Fanny' Jane (Taylor) Ennis was born into a large family of Irishparents, David and Susan Taylor, who had emigrated to the United Stateswhere some of their children were born and then moved to Canada. Fannywas born in Vaughan Township, Ontario. Fanny met and married Tom Ennisin Kleinburg, Vaughan Township. Shortly after their marriage Tom andFanny moved to Cranbrook locality to Lo 16, Concession 13, where theyresided until retiring to Brussels, Ontario in 1903, selling their 100acres which they had converted from a bush lot to a fine homestead toJohn McNab. Fanny passed away at 4:30 A.M. Christmas morning at her home in Brussels,Ontario in her 77th year. She had been ailing with heart trouble anddropsy for the previous year and had a stroke of paralysis from which shedid not rally.
