Obituary: "Friends were saddened to learn of the death in the Prince County Hospital on Friday afternoon of Mrs. William J. Walker after a short illness. She was the former Miss Carrie Young of Lynn, Mass., and a lady of very prepossessing manner and noble character. Her husband is a native of Kensington and for some years resided there, afterwards going to British Columbia to live. They returned to Kensington about two years ago and have since resided there. Mr. Walker has the sympathy of his many friends in his bereavement.
The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the residence of Mr. John Walker. Rev. Benjamin Fream officiated at the service which was largely attended. The pallbearers were Messrs. Bruce Paynter, David Clark, David Walker, Arthur Wright, Alphonse Connell and John Thompson. Interment was in Kensington Cemetery." [No such burial site has been found at this cemetery - DAW]2,6
