Marriage*Jane Ferguson married Alexander Nicholson Jane Ferguson married Alexander Nicholson, a Springfield blacksmith. They had two children; Daniel, who died in September, 1910 and Lydia who died in December 1910. Jane spent her last years on the Ferguson homestead, and was the last of the Fergusons to live there. She died in 1933.1

Obituary: "The death of Mrs. David Walker, of New Annan, occurred at the Prince County Hospital at 10 o'clock Monday night under peculiarly sad circumstances being due to blood poisoning, which she contracted from a scratch from a pin on the arm only as recently last Wednesday evening. Her condition quickly became such that it was deemed advisable to have her removed to the hospital where despite everything that was done her life could not be saved. Deceased was formerly Miss Margaret Ferguson of Summerside, and her many friends here will be deeply grieved to learn of her death under such sad and unexpected circumstances.
She was forty-three years of age and leaves to mourn besides her husband, two children a boy and girl, also a sister, Mrs. Taylor and one brother, Mr. H. Ferguson, who have the sympathy of the community in their sad loss. The funeral takes place from her late home in New Annan Wednesday afternoon to the People's Cemetery."8,9,10,4

Birth*Peter Ferguson was born on 18 February 1845 in New London, Queens County, Prince Edward Island.2 
He was the son of Archibald Ferguson and Christina Sinclair.1 
MarriagePeter Ferguson married Ann Charity Ramsay, daughter of Archibald Ramsay and Mary Campbell, Peter Ferguson (1845-1932) married Charity Ramsay (1849-1926) of Hamilton, Prince Edward Island, and settled in Graham's Road. In 1898, he went to the Klondike, but after a few years he returned to Prince Edward Island. Their children were Lester, Mary, Walden, Hugh John.
A. Lester Ferguson predeceased his father.
B. Mary Ferguson died in 1905.
C. Walden Ferguson died in 1913 in British Columbia.
D. Hugh john Ferguson (1892-1937) married Mabel MacKay of Springfield, and they settled on the family farm on Graham's Road. They had three children: Waldon, who married his brother's widow, Mary MacKay; Marion married J. Sutherland Montgomery; Vernon married Mary MacKay. Vernon died in 1956, aged 25 years.1
