Note*John Eliakim was the only son of Ebenezer and Elizabeth (Dyer) Weeks. Hemarried Hattie, daughter of Frank Dyer of Salisbury, October 4, 1878. In1926 he became Governor of Vermont and was re-elected in 1828, being thefirst Governor in seventy five years to be elected for two consecutiveterms. (Crook, An American Family.)
