Note*Was a member 1st Baptist Church, Westerly. She was a granddaughter of Deacon John B. Steadman , of Voluntown, a deacon of the Baptist church, and great-grand-daughter of Rev. Enoch Steadman, soldier in the American Revolution; one of General Washington's bodyguards; his remains are buried on Block Island. on 6 February 1842. 
Death*Sylvia Vincent Stedman died in 1871.
