About eight o’clock William Walker, while out in the barn, felt a weak turn coming on, and returning to the house laid on a lounge. In a few minutes he passed away. Mr. Walker had not been in the best of health for some time but no serious consequences were anticipated, as he was able to be around as usual attending to the farm work. He was about 66 years of age and was one of the best known and most highly respected farmers in his district. A widow and three children, one son and two daughters, are among those who have been so suddenly called upon to mourn the loss of a beloved husband and father. The son is in Battleford Sask., and the daughters are Mrs. D. McKenzie, Kensington, and Mrs. Fred Clarke, Wilmot. Henry Walker, Summerside, and David Walker, Lynn, are brothers. Mrs. J. M. Obituary: "His many friends will sympathize with Mr. Henry Walker of Summerside in the death of his brother, David, who passed away in Lynn, Mass., on the 8th inst., after being in failing health for over a year. He was 71 years of age and left Summerside for Lynn 41 years ago, working there at his trade of carpenter. Upon learning that he was in poor health a year ago Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walker paid him a visit, which was destined to be the last meeting of the two who were the only brothers of the family. There is also one sister left to mourn, Mrs. J. M. Laird, of Kensington. Deceased is also survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Annie McGougan, formerly of Summerside, and one daughter, Blanche, wife of John A. McDonald, of Lynn.".
