In addition to Mrs. Lowther two sons, R. A. Wright Leard, Central Bedeque, and Marshall Leard of Danvers, Mass., are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Obituary: "Kensington Notes: The people of Kensington and vicinity received a severe shock when they learned of the death from pneumonia of Mrs. Donald McKenzie after a brief illness of four days. Mrs. McKenzie was one of the leading ladies of Kensington, being foremost in all that pertained to the good and uplift of the town and people among whom she dwelt. Her presence and help will be greatly missed in her home and in patriotic work, as well as in the church in which she was an active member, taking an energetic part in its several societies. "She leaves to mourn her loss, besides a sorrowing husband and four small children, her mother, Mrs. Wm. Walker, one sister, Mrs. Fred Clark, Wilmot, and one brother, Scott, of North Battleford, Sask., and a large number of relatives and friends to whom the deepest sympathy is extended. The funeral service was held on Friday afternoon in the Presbyterian Church and was conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. W. Goodwill, assisted by Revs. W. E. Johnson and Sellers and Neish, the unusually large number present showed the esteem in which she was held. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The pallbearers were: J. B. Profitt, J. Pendergast, Dr. A. Lockhart, J. Harding, J. Walker, and A. Brown." .
