| Death | She died on 29 May 1912 in Summerside, Prince County, Prince Edward Island, CanadaG.
Obituary: "There is much sympathy felt and expressed for John L. Green, who has just suffered the greatest of earthly losses. Mrs. Green passed away at her home in Summerside at midnight on Tuesday, after an illness of about a week, at the early age of 43 years. Pneumonia was the cause of death. The circumstances of the case are especially sad. Mr. Green had been in the Canadian west for over five years, and a fortnight ago came home on a visit to his wife and family. It was his intention to return to the west, but his wife prevailed upon him to change his mind, and securing a position with Holman's Limited, he decided to remain in Summerside. He had hardly determined upon the change when his wife was seized with the illness which ended in her death and the happy home was plunged into grief.
Mrs. Green was daughter of John Mill, of Clermont, and was a woman of the highest type of character and a great favorite by all of whom she was known. Besides her sorrowing husband she leaves a family of four small children, the youngest being five years of age. There are also seven sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Nora Mill and Mrs. J. C. Jardine in Summerside; Mrs. William Walker, Kensington; Mrs. Ernest Parkman, Montague; Mrs. Keith Cameron and the Misses Mary and Clara Mill in Halbrite, Sask. The brothers are Henry Mill, who lives near Kensington, and Frank Mill on the homestead. The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon and was largely attended. The pallbearers were W. W. Baker, Geo. Brown, Frank Lafferty, P. B. Clark, Fred Peters and Geo. McCallum. The burial was at St. Eleanors. Rev. C. DeWolfe White officiated."5,6
