He was a deacon in the Baptist Church in Coytown. He and Mr. Currey were always quarreling about the 'Prohibitory Law' that was regarding whether cattle were to be allowed to run the roads or not. He was a very stubborn man, but friendly. He died before 1882. She died somewhat later. George William COY was Farmer. He married Mary Jane ESTABROOKS, daughter of John ESTABROOKS and Mary COY.
