DeathShe died on 26 June 1930 in home, Alberton, Prince County, Prince Edward Island, CanadaG.

Obitiuary: "On Thursday June 26th Mrs. Geo. Wallace passed peacefully away at her home after a protracted illness borne with remarkable patience and cheerfulness. Although great hopes for her recovery were held, God willed it otherwise and called her to enjoy the reward of a well spent life, notwithstanding all that the best medical skill had done to keep her longer, along with tender nursing and care from loved ones in the home.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Maurice O'Connor and Mary Keefe, and was born in Alma and resided there all her life. In the passing of this good woman, her death was as her life, truly Christian. She has left her family the richest legacy one can leave behind - the memory of a good name - and though she has passed beyond the sound of earthly voice she will long live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She possessed many sterling qualities which ever make and hold worthy friendships and leave imprints which are worthwhile. Charity and humility were two of her outstanding virtues and the poor always found in her a faithful friend. The great number of Mass cards, spiritual bouquets, flowers and letters of sympathy, all testify to esteem and love of her many friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory a bereaved husband, four daughters: Mrs. John A. Callaghan, Elmsdale; Mrs. Frank Ready, Tignish; Mrs. Lloyd Crounse, Wellesley, Mass.; Mrs. Vincent Walsh, Brooklyn, Mass.; and five sons, Maurice, Drumheller, Alberta; Leo, Petrolia, Ont.; John, Albert and William at home. All except the first named were with her at the last. She also leaves four sisters: Mrs. J. L. Hughes, Morell; Annie and Veronica, Brookline, Mass.; and Rev. Mother St. Brendan, Notre Dame, Montreal; and three brothers: Maurice, Portland, Oregon; John, Lowell, Mass.; and Edward at home. The funeral took place Sunday the 29th and was one of the largest ever held at Sacred Heart Church, Alberton. The pallbearers were Alexander White, Allen Matthews, John Barbour, Anselm O'Brien, Peter Burke and James McIntyre."5,1,6
