Born in Devon, NB on December 18th, 1932 she was the wife of the late George Palmer. Greta leaves behind her children, Susan (Patrick) Morris of Grand Bay, Richard Palmer (Manuel Vela) of Calgary, AB, and Robert Palmer of Saint Andrews; grandchildren, Patricia and Vanessa Morris and Carly Schofield; brothers, Hazen (Rosaline), Lloyd (Verna), Harold (Joan) and Ken (Florence) Boulter and sisters, Alice Canney, Jessie Saunders, Shirley Finney and Barb Smith. Greta was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Mabel (MacKinnon) Boulter; brothers, Gordon and James Boulter and sister, Doris Smith. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to all the staff of Extra Mural, Saint John and Bobby's Hospice.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Monday, April 23rd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jane Johnson officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Palmer Cemetery, Central Hampstead, NB. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Greta's honor may be made to Bobby's Hospice (www.hospicesj.ca) or to the charity of the donor's choice."2
