But he did not remove to Fredericton, York Co., NB until 1820's..No military service indicated in Wright's book. On 6 May 1820 he declaredthat he had been an inhabitant of NB for nearly 36 years and neverreceived any land from the Crown. Asked for relief from 1845 Act. Scottish Church Records show a Holden Turner christened 1760 Lanarkshireson of Robert. They show also a Hugh b 1757 and Henry christened 1763 both sons ofRobert Turner. A Robert Turner christened in 1733, Lanarkshire, had a father Archibald.A Robert Turner m Agnes Russell in 1753 in Lanarkshire. Another Robert mJanet Boyd 1750, Lanarkshire. That his eldest son was named Robert and his second son George Hutchinsonfits with Scottish naming conventions, since his wife's maiden name wasHutchinson. These same conventions make it likely that Holden had anuncle John. These same naming conventions would call for fourth sonWilliam B., to be named Holden, however after his father. 65. She is the head of a household in the Census of 1851 in Frederictonwith two older daughters Charlotte and Amelia (McGraw). Scottish naming conventions would indicate that Jennet's father's namewas George Hutchinson, since she named her second son George Hutchinson, and that her mother's name was Amelia since her eldest daughter was giventhat name. However, these conventions would call for daughter MargaretAgnes to be named Jennet and would expect an aunt Belle Hutchinson toexist on her mother's side. Children were: 32 i. Robert TURNER. ii. Amelia TURNER was born about 1793. She died after 1851. Living withher mother Jannet and her sister Charlotte in 1851 in Fredericton. iii. Charlotte TURNER was born about 1801. She died after 1851.
