Elizabeth Alice Wright was born March 20, 1992, to Eva and John RossWright in Lowell, Oregon. During her childhood she lived in Tacoma andVancouver, B.C. where she trained for the 1936 Olympics in swimming. Before she competed, her family moved to Omak and she graduated asvaledictorian of the Class of 1939. After graduation, at the age of 17,she moved to Seattle and attended business college. Her career took her to Boeing, where she became secretary to the vicepresident. In 1946 she married Hans E. Nilson. They lived in Seattleuntil returning to the Nilson apple orchard, where they raised fivedaughters. She then returned to the Seattle area, eventually settling with daughterJanet Wells and family in Bothell. Mrs. Nilson was an avid reader and always on top of current events. Sheenjoyed dabbling in the stock market, and took pleasure in hergrandchildren and families, whether at their homes, Disneyland, Reno, theOregon beach or Woodland Park Zoo. Survivors include five daughters and sons-in law, Rilla and Dan Burnettof Yakima, Janet and Jeffery Wells of Bothell, Katherine and LawrenceChick of Richland, Jeannie and Steve Mitzner of Okanogan and Nancie andDavid Schonhard of Snohomish; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, HarrietPatterson of Vancouver, B. C., Marion Chamberlin at Springfield, Ore.,and Ellen Bowman of Olympia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Herbert Wright. Private memorial services were held in Bothell. A spring memorial isplanned for Omak friends and family. Remembrances are suggested to Public Broadcasting System KCTS TV Channel9, 401 Mercer St., Seattle 98109, or any charity.

NoteJohn Arthur 'Jack' Parker was born 07 Mar 1926 in Sedro Wooley, SkagitCounty, Washington, U.S.A. to George and Alex Parker. He died 10 Mar1998 at his home in Bothell, King County, Washington, U.S.A. He was aresident of the Bothell area for 51 years. Jack was 72 years old. Hegraduated from Sedro Wolley High School in 1944 and served in the US ArmySignal Corps during World War II in the Pacific. In 1947 he married Emma Christine Nilson. They raised four childrentogether until her death in 1972. Mr. Parker was employed as a plumberin the Seattle area. Projects he worked on include many schools on theEastside and the Seattle Aquarium. He retired in 1986. Mr. Parker was a member of the National Plumbers andPipefitters Union and the American Legion Post #127. He was activelyinvolved in Youth Sports and other civic activities for many years, andserved as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Bothell. Jack's funeral service was held at St. Brendan's Catholic Church inBothell on March 14 at 11 A.M. Survivors included his sons Richard of Longview, WA. and James ofBothell; daughters Patricia McClintick of Kirkland and ChristineBraunwart of Othello; Brother David Parker of Clearlake, Skagit Countyand his companion for 22 years was Dolores Craig; and 13 grandchildren. Burial was at Holyrood Cemetery, Seattle, King County, Washington,U.S.A. Memorials may be made to the Evergreen Hospice and Health CareFoundation, 12910 Totem Lake Boulevard N.E., Suite 200, Kirkland,WA.98034. Bothell Funeral Home.
