Obituary: "The death of Mrs. Cuthbert Montgomery, Park Corner, occurred in the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday. Her death was particularly tragic in that an infant daughter, born March 2nd, survives. The late Mrs. Montgomery, who was 43 years of age, was formerly Miss Margaret Cousins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Cousins of Park Corner, and had a wide circle of friends.
She is survived by her husband, four daughters, Muriel, Ruth, Margaret, and the infant already referred to; two sons, Hodge and John; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Cousins; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Heath MacLeod, Mrs. Fred Campbell, Miss Millicent Cousins, William Cousins, in the United States; George in Charlottetown; James and John of Park Corner."7,3

It will be remembered that Mr. Cousin's son went out to British Columbia about the first of October to regain his health, which had suffered as a result of being gassed overseas. His condition, however, became worse until the end came on Sunday, Jan. 13. The remains will be taken to the Island where interment will be made."1,7 |
