He served during WW I.He piloted the steam boat Minto on Upper and Lower Arrow Lakes on theColumbia River, B.C. Taken from the Birth Registers RS141 at the Provincial Archives,Fredericton, York Co., N.B. Otto has followed in his father's career in steam boating and was retiredin Penticton, British Columbia, Canada in 1958. He served in the firstWorld War. Later he piloted the steam boat 'Minto' on Arrow Lakes, bothUpper and Lower, which are part of the Columbia River system in BritishColumbia, Canada for many years prior to his retirement.
