  	in her book entitled The St. John River and its Tributaries, Esther Clark Wright wrote that Jonathan was born in Maugerville, New Brunswick. This is unlikely as he and the family didn't move to New Brunswick until 1760.

Jonathan Hart owned land and tenements in Lynn at the time he went to Maugerville, New Brunswick, which were sold by Thomas Hart of Lynn, 20 June 1768, as shown by deed recorded at Salem, Massachusetts, Book 125, Page 159.
