Name Variation Samuel Henry Alline Hartt is also known as Samuel Hartt.1
NoteIn the original granting of land on the Burton side of the St. John River, according to Bedell's Survey, Samuel Hart received lot 8, which John Estabrooks afterwards bought. This was about 1784, John Estabrooks sold this land to his son, Abraham, who in turn sold it to Stephen Watson. Samuel Hart married a second time, to Clarissa Hamond and had: Ruth Amelia who married John Estey; William Dell; (Rev.) Samuel; Judah Hammond; and John Endicott Hart.
Birth*He was born between 1745 and 1746 in Lynn, Massachusetts, U.S.A.; in her book entitled Genealogy of the Anglo-Dutch Estabrooks Family, Florence Cecilia Estabrooks wrote that Samuel was born in Maugerville, New Brunswick. This is unlikely as his parents and family didn't move to Maugerville until 1760 [this info received from Carole Dick].2
He was the son of Jonathan Hart and Mercy Hawks
(First) Marriage*Samuel Henry Alline Hartt married first Mary Estabrooks, daughter of Sgt. Elijah Estabrooks Jr. and Mary Hackett, in 1773 in Maugerville, Sunbury County, New Brunswick
(Second) Marriage*Samuel Henry Alline Hartt married second Clarrissa Hammond, daughter of Archelaus Hammond and Jerusha Slocum, on 28 October 1793.
Death*Samuel Henry Alline Hartt died in 1814, in Kingsclear, York County, New Brunswick.2
