Birth	Jenkes (Jenks) Corey was born on 13 December 1749, in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode IslandG.¹
Death	He died on 3 July 1778 in PennsylvaniaG. Jenks and two of his sons were killed during the Wyoming Valley massacre. They are buried in a communal grave with other victims. There is a monument half mile south of Troy PA in the Wilkes Barre area. The names of Jenks and his brothers, Anson and Rufus, are on the monument. The name of his wife is not known at this time.¹
