Note	BIOGRAPHY James Pension record; (No S 10460) in which states he enlisted March 1776 for nine months as a fifer in Capt Josiah Gibbs Co., Col Richmond's Regt. His brother Anthony served one month of his enlistment. He re-enlisted summer of 1777 and served under Capt Wm Roy, Lt. Kinkion, etc, see pension. He enlisted again in 1780 in the VT Rangers. He ended up as a resident of Madrid, St Lawrence Co. NY.¹
