Emeline was born at Travellers Rest, spent her earlier years at Travellers Rest School, then in Summerside High School, after which she spent two years at Prince County Hospital training for a nurse. In 1948 she married Warren Nisbet of Tyne Valley. They moved to Toronto where Emeline's sister Ruth Moase lived. Emeline worked for Dr. MacDonald, a bone specialist, for approximately thirty years and had recently retired. Funeral service was held at Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Mississauga, Ontario. Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens."2 |
