MACMURDO -- The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, of J. Mildred MacMurdo, of Kensington.

Eldest daughter of the late Erle and Amy (Townsend) MacMurdo.

Sister of Marion (Sid) Gillespie of Toronto, Ont., and Dr. Margaret (Alan) MacMurdo McMillan of Bedford, N.S.

Dear aunt of Susan Gillespie, Cynthia (Doug) MacLeod, Janet MacMillan Dempsey and Heather (John) Houston.

Also will be sadly missed by grandnephews, Jason and Blake Prendergast, Matthew Dempsey, Calder MacLeod and Dorset Houston, grandnieces Katelyn Dempsey and Lily MacLeod.

Visitation Saturday, Jan. 2, 2003, at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Kensington United Church. Interment in North Bedeque Cemetery.
